Donald Platt

Donald Platt started his working career in sales and marketing, spending 12 years in the industrial gas industry and thereafter served as a Director of a subsidiary of Conshu Limited. He joined Marley SA as sales and marketing Director in 1998 and was promoted to managing Director of Marley Flooring in 2001. The division was acquired by EFIC (Empowerment and Financial and Investment Company) in 2004 and became part of Accéntuate. Donald is Managing Director of FloorworX Africa (Pty) Limited and assumed the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of Accéntuate on 1 September 2020.

Wisdom Mushohwe

Wisdom is a qualified chartered accountant and certified public accountant (inactive) and joined the Accéntuate Group in 2018 as Financial Director of FloorworX Africa. Prior to joining the Accéntuate Group, Wisdom was employed as the CFO of King Hintsa FET College. Before this, Wisdom served as an associate Director at Lunika Inc. and as a senior manager at Rakoma and Associates Inc. From 2007 to 2013 Wisdom has served in various positions at Deloitte in South Africa, United Arab Emirates and United States of America. During this time, he qualified as a chartered accountant through SAICA, as well as a certified public accountant from the California Board of Accountancy, USA. Wisdom has extensive finance and audit experience in the public and private sector spanning over a period of 14 years.

Frederick Cornelius Platt

FRED has a background that reveals a passion for people, human rights and business. His vision is to inspire and develop a new breed of South Africans who understand and treasure their past, but also see beyond it to a brighter future. Since 1997 Fred has been at the forefront of establishing and leading Accentuate, a JSE listed company with R600m in annual turnover and he has initiated the set-up of over 200 small businesses to support and empower entrepreneurs. Following the tragic passing away of his son Sam, he co-founded the Footprints 4 Sam Trust, a charitable trust set up to improve the lives of children with chronic illness. He is also a speaker and is the author of Lessons From a Rainbow Unicorn, a book inspired by his son Sam who passed away in 2016 a few months after his first birthday.
